ACVIM is the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, whose mission is to enhance animal and human health by advancing veterinary internal medicine through training, education, and discovery. This non-profit promotes and fosters scientific and professional activities that lead to better care for both animals and humans through education, research, dissemination of medical knowledge, and promoting public awareness.
